Healing Back Pain Therpies

Many people suffering with upper back pain (or any other form of chronic back pain for that matter) get the healing back pain help they need from one of the many different non-physician practitioners dealing in complementary therapies.

Some of the healing back pain therapies from many of these practitioners, like chiropractors and massage therapists, are well known, but there is very little documentation about their relative effectiveness or ineffectiveness.

More mainstream systems, like Tai Chi instructors and Feldenkrais therapists, are unknown to many back sufferers. Still others, like physiotherapists, usually need a doctor’s authorization to treat you. And a few, like chiropodists, who seem far removed from back care can be surprisingly helpful with certain upper and mid back pain problems.

Collectively, these healing back pain practitioners are enormously popular. There are probably some 30 to 40 different types of back pain therapies out there, but as you’ll see, only about one-third of them can benefit most back sufferers in a major way.
